Oliver, Administrator, J. Wall, Attorney, R. Sherman, S. Walker, L. Harris, L&I, R. Berry, Sheriffs Dept, T. Beck, Recreation Director, L. Bonner, Clerk of Commission. Clerk: We have a request for one addendum item: New Application: A.N. 00-18: A request by Terry Cato for a consumption on premise liquor, beer & wine license to be used in connection with On the River Cafe' located at #2 Riverwalk 8th Street. There will be Sunday sales. District 1. Super District 9. Mr. Kuhlke: So move. Mr. Brigham: Second. Motion carries unanimously. Motion to approve an agreement with the Academy of Youth Athletics (A.Y.A.) for operation ofIDckman Park Recreation Center. Mr. Kuhlke: So move. Mr. Brigham: Second. :1 Motion carried unanimously. Motion to approve an agreement with East Augusta Neighborhood Association (EANA) for operation of Eastview Recreation Center. Mr. Kuhlke: So move. Mr. Brigham: Second. Motion carried unanimously. Approve taxicab "flat rate" fee structure for Masters Week, ApriIZ-AprilIO, 2000. Mr. Kuhlke: So move. Mr. Brigham: Second. Motion carried unanimously. New Ownership: A.N. 00-12: A request by Barbara Usry for a consumption on premise liquor, beer & wine license to be used in connection with Walton Way Pub located at 1923 Walton Way. District 1. Super District 9. I Mr. Walker: This applicant has met all requirements of the alcohol ordinance and has been approved by the License Deparonem and the Sheriffs Department and we recommend approval. (No objectors) Mr. Colclough: So move. Mr. Brigham: Second. Motion carried unanimously. "i' New Ownership: A.N. 00-15: A reqnest by Sun Knight for a retail package beer & wine license to be used in connection with Snn's Grocery located at 3745 Peach Orchard Road. District 6. Super District 10. Ms. Knight: Sun Knight, 1919 Dunham Court. Mr. Walker.TIris applicant has met all requirements of the alcohol ordinance and has been approved by the License Department and the Sheriff s Department and we recommend approval. (No objectors) Mr. Knhlke: So move. Mr. Brigham: Second. Motion carried unanimously. New Application: A.N. 00-16: A request Eric Paige for a consumption on premise liquor, beer & wine license to he used in connection with The Big Easy New Orleans Style located at 3160 Wrightsboro Road. There will be Sunday sales. District 5. Snper District 9. Mr. Paige: Eric Paige, 12 Apple Drive, Piedmont, SC. Mr. Walker: TIris applicant has met all requirements of the alcohol ordinance and has been approved by the License Department and the Sheriffs Department and we recommend approval. (No objectors) Mr. Kuhlke: So move. Mr. Colclough: Second. Motion carries with Mr. Colclough voting no on Sunday sales. New Application: A.N. 00-17: A request by Mike Smith for a consumptiou on premise liquor, beer & wine license to be used in connection with Mike Smith Catering located at 2501 Washington Road. There will be Sunday sales. District 7. Super District 10. Mr. Smith: Mike Smith. 880 Windmill Lane, Evans. Mr. Walker: This applicant has met all requirements of the alcohol ordinance and has been approved by the License Deparonem and the Sheriffs Deparonent and we recommend approval. (No objectors) Mr. Kuhlke: So move. I I I Mr. Brigham: Second. I Motion carries with Mr. Colclough voting no on Sunday sales. Amend the technical codes by deleting the National Electrical Code 1996 Edition and adding the National Electric Code 1999 Edition (with Georgia amendments). Mr. Brigham: So move. Mr. Kuhlke: Second. Motion carried unanimously. Discuss appointing a member of the Home Builders Associatiou to the Subdivisiou Regulations Committee. Mr. Kuhlke: So move. Mr. Brigham: Second. After further discussion, :.. '. Mr. Kuhlke: I would like to amend my motion to approve this with the caveat that the represeutative from the Home Builders Associatiou must be a resident ofRichmoud County. Motion carried unanimously. New Application: A.N. 00-18: A request by Terry Cato for a consumption on premise liquor, beer & wine license to be used in connection with On the River Cafe' located at #2 Riverwalk 8'" Street. This applicant has met all requirements of the alcohol ordinance and has been approved by the License Department and the Sheriff s Department and we recommend approval.
