Williams, Chairman; Sims, Co-Chairman; Beard and Boyles, members; Lena Bonner, Clerk of Commission. ABSENT: Hon. Bob Young, Mayor. Also Present: Hon. Smith, Commissioner. 1. Consider a request from the Downtown Advisory Panel regarding a recommendation concerning alcohol distance requirements in the downtown area. Ms. Sims: I so move. Mr. Boyles: Second. Motion adopted unanimously. 2. Approval of server purchases, upgrades & replacements. I Mr. Boyles: I move for approval. Ms. Sims: Second. Motion adopted unanimously. 3. Approve the replacement of obsolete computer equipment Oaptops, computers, printers) and purchase any required computer software upgrades. Mr. Boyles: I so move. Ms. Sims: Second. Motion adopted unanimously. 4. Report from staff regarding the situation of Mrs. Ruby Johnson of Railroad Street. (Referred from June 7 Public Safety) Mr. Boyles: I move that we refer this to the attorney for a legal inquiry. I Ms. Sims: Second. Motion adopted unanimously. I 5. nwm Approve the proposal from Rapiscan to replace the x-ray security inspection system at the Law Enforcement Center. Rapiscan is the sole source for this equipment due to the fact that aU the existing equipment has been purchased from Rapiscan aU systems need be integrated and have to be compatible with each other.
