Shepard members, Commissioner A. Cheek, G. Kolb, Administrator, F. Russell, Deputy Administrator, J. Wall, Attorney, P. Wasson, 9-1-1 Director, L. Bonner, Clerk of Commission. MEDIA: S. Eidson, Metro Spirit, H. Williams, Augusta Chronicle, G. Eskola, Channel 6, Augusta Focus. 1. Approve New World Systems to provide the Priority Dispatch ProQA for EMD Interface for the 911 Communications Center subject to the final contract approval of the Attorney, 911 Director, and Information Technology. Mr. Shepard: So move for approval. Mr. Boyles: Second. Motion carries unanimously. I 2. Approve the addition of the Emergency Dispatch Protocol Implementation Policy to the Augusta 9-1-1 Policy and Procedures Manual. Mr. Shepard: So move for approval. Mr. Boyles: Second. Motion carries unanimously. 3. Update regarding the identification of a funding source for the Implementation of a Community Emergency Notification System for Richmond County. (Referred from February 11 Public Safety) Mr. Dlugolenski: I wanted to give an update on where we stand with identification of funding sources for the cost of this system. The local Emergency Planning Committee has already written a check for that service. Additional cost associated with that is updated telephone data to include in this system. The approximate cost is around $3,500 each year to update the data. Right now we're looking at a cost of $5,000 to the govemment. I'm looking at additional funding sources and should have them identified within the next two weeks. Mr. Shepard: So move we receive this as information. I Mr. Boyles: Second.
