Williams, members, W. Hornsby, Interim Administrator, J. Wall, Attorney, Dr. B. Brilgdon, Animal Control, 1. Bonner, Clerk of Commission. ABSENT: J. Brigham, member. MEDIA: S. Eidson, Metro Spirit, H. Coryell, Augusta Chronicle, J. Ally, Channel 26, Channel 6. Presentation from the Director of Animal Control regarding the cnrrent statns of the department. At this time Dr. Bragdon gives a film presentation. Mr. Shepard: I would move that we receive the Director's presentation as information and compliment her on it and thank her for the job she's doing. Mr. Williams: Second. Motion carried unanimously. Authorize the Department of Animal Control to increase fees for services provided to animal owners. Dr. Bragdon: I believe that by increasing these fees we are providing better services to the community. We are making irresponsible pet owners more responsible and we are providing better service for people who adopt. - Mr. Shepard: So move to refer this to the budget work session for consideration. Mr. Williams: Second. Motion carried unanimously. Authorize Augusta Richmond County to hold rabies vaccination clinics open to the - citizens of Augusta Richmond County on a regular basis. Dr. Bragdon win vaccinate dogs and cats owned by private citizens for a fee of $8.00. Presentation from the Director of Animal Control regarding the current status of the department. 2. Authorize the Department of Animal Control to increase fees for services provided to animal owners.
