PRESENT: Hons. Boyles, Chairman; Grantham and Williams, members; Fred
Russell, Administrator; Lena Bonner, Clerk of Commission.
ABSENT: Hon. Beard, Co-Chairman.
The Clerk: We have a request to add one item. It is a request to purchase of One
(1) Sport Utility Vehicle for $30,923.40 from Bobby Jones Ford of Augusta, Georgia
(lowest bid packages for Bid 04-115) and approve budget amendments in the General
Fund and Capital Outlay Fund to accommodate the purchase.
Mr. Grantham: A motion to add.
Mr. Williams: Second.
Motion adopted unanimously.
The Clerk: We also have a request to delete Items 1 and 3 at the request of the
petitioners.

Consider a request from Mr. John Zimjewski regarding the abatement of a
penalty on his personal property tax for a boat. (Referred from November 8
Finance)
3. Consider a request from the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce
regardiing an abatement of property taxes for 2004 in the amount of
$6,102.02. (Referred from November 8 Finance)
Mr. Williams: So move.
Mr. Grantham: Second.
Motion adopted unanimously.
2. Consider a request from Mrs. Lucile Ketch for a refund of her garbage
collection fees.
Mr. Chairman: Before Ms. Beard left we talked with Mr. Russell, Mr. Williams
and Ms. Ketch and we decided that this would be handled administratively to see if we
can work it out.

CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS:
4. Approve outsourcing to PMSI the microfilming of files required by law for
the years 1990 through 1997 at a cost of $12,000.00 through PMSI. (See
background information under Item #3 on Administrative Services)
5. Motion to approve refund on one account.
6. Motion to approve refund on one account.
Mr. Grantham: A motion to approve 4, 5 and 6.
Mr. Williams: Second.
Motion adopted unanimously.
8. Consider purchase of ad in the souvenir booklet for the Forty Ninth Annual
Georgia District Conference Alpha Phi Fraternity at the Riverfront
Radisson Hotel January 21-22, 2005.
The Clerk: This ad is for $100.00.

Mr. Grantham: I move that we approve it from the Promotional Account.
Mr. Williams: Second.
Motion adopted unanimously.
Addendum Item 1. Motion to approve a request to purchase of One (1) Sport Utility
Vehicle for $30,923.40 from Bobby Jones Ford of Augusta, Georgia (lowest bid
packages for Bid 04-115) and approve budget amendments in the General Fund and
Capital Outlay Fund to accommodate the purchase.
Mr. Grantham: I think that this was changed to an Explorer at a cost of
$26,937.30.
Mr. Williams: I so move.
Mr. Grantham: Second.

Discuss logo on city vehicles. (Requested by Commissioner Williams)

Mr. Williams: I'd like to ask the Administrator to get with staff and come back
with those vehicles that should be sealed and have not been sealed. I'll so move that we
. allow the Administrator to get with the department heads to bring in or find out how
many of the vehicles haven't been sealed and get them sealed.
Mr. Grantham: Second.
Motion adopted unanimously.
