Boyles, Chairman; Beard, Co-Chairman; Grantham and Williams, members; Steve Shepard, Attorney; George Kolb, Administrator; David Persaud, Finance Director; Teresa Smith, Public Works Director; Errick Thompson, Public Works Dept. Asst. Director; Lena Bonner, Clerk of Commission. CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS: 1. Consider request for rebate of late charges (including levy charge) for the common area of Woodbine West Subdivision. 2. Approve the acquisition of One Integrated Tool Carrier, One Hydraulic Tracked Excavator, One Slope Mower and One Agricultural Tractor for the Utilities Department. 3. Approve the acquisition of One (1) Ford Explorer for the Director of . EmergelIlcy Management Agency from Bobby Jones Ford for $24,880.00 each (lowest bid offer on Bid 03-121). 4. Approve the acquisition of 5 Public Safety Marshal's Department vehicles at $24,039.36 each (Bid Item 03-131). 5. Consider abatement of taxes on Land Bank property. 6. Approve the acquisition of One (1) Flatbed Dump Truck for the Utilities Department ~ Construction Division from Fleetcare Commercial Trucks of Augusta, Georgia for $52,550.00 (lowest bid offer on Bid 04-064). 7. Approve the acquisition of One (1) Agricultural Tractor for the Utilities Department - Construction Division from Holley Tractor Company of Aiken, South Carolina for $23,652.00 (lowest bid offer on Bid 04-065). Mr. Cha.irman: We would like to consider these as consent agenda items and on . Item #1 we need to make it for the record that we want to abate the penalty and charge the remainder. Mr. Shepard: I would include in the penalties the levy charge and the FiFa charge. Mr. Chairman: Right. That's included. Abating the penalty and then charging the interest, the levy charges and the FiFa charge and that's the recommendation that came from the Tax Commissioner. Mr. Williams: I'll second that. Motion adopted unanimously. 8. Discuss installation of street lights along Spring Grove Road between Deans Bridge Road and the Breeze Hill Subdivision. I Mr. Chairman: Mr. Hankerson asked me to explain that this is a street that no one lives on that goes from Hwy. 1 to Breeze Hill where there is a lot of illegal dumping gomg on. Mr. Grantham: How many lights would have to go there? Mr. Thompson: Eleven lights. Nine new ones and two existing. Mr. Shepard: You could refer it to my office for setting up a special tax district as an option to financing. Mr. Williams: I so move. Mr. Grantham: Second. Motion adopted unanimously.
