Mr. Chairman: And the Mayor has asked us to delete item 11. Mr. Bridges: I so move. Mr. Williams: Second. Motion adopted unanimously. I A request to approve the purchase of One (1) Bucket Truck with Chip Body for the Augusta Richmond County Trees and Landscape Department from A1tec Industries for 572,470.00 (lowest bid offer on Bid 00-102), was read. A request to approve the purchase of One (1) Hazardous Material Fire Truck for the Augusta Richmond County Fire Department from Harless Fire Equipment Company of Bessemer, Alabama for 5334,360.00 (lowest bid offer on Bid 00-105), was read.. A request to approve the purchase of One (1) Telescopic Crane Truck for the Augusta Richmond County Trees and Landscape Department from Mays International, Inc. of Augusta, Georgia for 589,343.75 (lowest bid offer on Bid 00- 101), was read. Mr. Bridges: I move that we approve 2, 3 and 5 for the low bid purchase. Mr. Williams: Second. I Motion adopted unanimously. A request for City participation in spons~rship of the 2nd Annual Character Luncheon, was read. Mr. Bridges: I make a motion that we take it out of the Promotion Account and that we approve the purchase of the individual tickets as Commissioners want to attend up to eleven. I Mr. Williams: Second. Motion adopted unanimously. A request for City participation in sponsorship of the 39th Annual Meeting of the CSRA Regional Development Center Board of Directors, was read. Mr. Chairman: We're talking about $250. Mr. H. Brigham: I so move ~d charge it to the Promotion Account; Mr. Chairman: I'll second the motion. Motion adopted unanimously. A request for City participation in sponsorship of the Greater CSRA Fellowship of Christian Athletes Annual Home Team Banquet, was read. The Clerk: The tables range from $500 to $5,000. I Mr. Bridges: I move that we pass this on to the full Commission with no recommendation. . Mr. Williams: Second. Motion adopted unanimously. The Committee next discussed funding of the Augusta Museum of History. Mr. Chairman: Mr. Kuhlke had wanted to address this but he isn't here just now. Mr. Bridges: I move that we pass this on the next Committee meeting. . Mr. Williams: Second. Motion adopted unanimously. ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned. Approve the purchase of One (1) Sewer Vacuum Truck for the Augusta Richmond County Public Works Department from Mays International Trucks for $193,987.48 (lowest bid offer on Bid 00-112). 7. Approve the purchase of Two (2) Small Elliptical Tanker Fire Trucks for the Augusta Richmond County Fire Department from Harless Fire Equipment Company of Bessemer, Alabama for $156,300.00 each, total of$312,600.00 (lowest bid offer on Bid 00-104). 8. Consider City participation in sponsorship of the 2nd Annual Character Luncheon. 9. Consider City participation in sponsorship of the 39th Annual Meeting of the CSRA Regional Development Center Board of Directors. 10. Consider City participation in sponsorship of the Greater CSRA Fellowship of Christian Athletes Annual Home Team Banquet. 11.
