Brigham, Vice- Chairman; Beard and 1. Brigham, members; Jim Wall, Attorney; Randy Oliver. Administrator; Lon Morrey, Comptroller; David Collins, Finance Dept.; Lena Bonner, Clerk of Commission and Nancy Morawski, Deputy Clerk of Commission. Also Present: Stacey Eidson of The Metropolitan Spirit, George Eskola ofWJBF Television and Sylvia Cooper of The Augusta Chronicle. A request to adopt budget schedule for year 2000 Budget and direct staff to prepare two-year budget, was read. Mr. Beard: I so move. Mr. J. Brigham: Second. Motion adopted unanimously. A request to review preliminary 2000 Budget figures and first quarter operating results, was read. I Mr. Oliver: We'd ask that this be rolled over to the next meeting. We've not had an opportunity to go through the numbers yet because of some issues with the computer and don't have the first quarter operating results yet. Mr. Chairman: We'll just pass it on to the next meeting then. A request to authorize the Mayor to execute contract with the Department of Community Affairs subject to the approval of Legal Counsel and the Administrator for the attached sub-recipient grant awards, was read. Mr. Oliver: These are pass-through from the State and we act as a conduit and ensure that these monies are spent appropriately. Mr. 1. Brigham: Are these all governmental entities or 501 C? Mr. Wall: I'm not sure on all of them. Mr. Oliver: These have to be signed by the State. Mr. J. Brigham: I so move. I Mr. H. Brigham: Second. NWM Motion adopted unanimously.
